Are there any EDM- researchers out there who have records on EDM- families in Ohio in 1820?
Specifically, I am looking at these households:
1) Matthew Edmiston of Gallia county, Huntington twnshp
2) Robert Edminston of Ross county, Buckskin twnshp
3) John Edminston of Ross county, Paint twnshp
or
4) John Edmonson of Columbiana county, Middle twnshp
My g-g-gf William "Billy" Edmisten was born in Ohio in 1812. I am trying to find his parents. From the census records it looks like these four EDM- families have at least one son under 10. I am wondering if one of these children is my Billy.
I have further data on Billy's travels from Ohio, to Hancock county Indiana where he marries Mary (last name unk) from Virginia. Billy and Mary have 4 sons and 3 daughters and move from Indiana to Gentry-which-becomes-Worth county in Missouri, up to Fremont county Iowa, where Billy died in 1885. Then the sons move on to Cass county Nebraska, Jerauld county So.Dak (my line), and White Cloud, KS.

Can any of you help me identify whether my Billy fits in any of the above households?
