I have some information on Edmondson's in Ontario, Canada. I will summarize some of it below, but I doubt it will do you any good as the time frames are pretty far from yours.

1 Robert Edmiston b: Abt. 1755 Robert and his family were in Argyle Town, Washington Co., NY 1790-1805. They were in Ticonderoga, Essex Co., NY 1805-1817. They probably migrated to the area north of Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1817.

In his will John left property to Robert Edmunson, "the young man who has been brought up by me." Apparently this was not his natural son. Robert Edmunson can be found in the 1871 and 1881 censuses in Carrick Twp., Bruce Co., Ontario. John also had some unknown relationship with Permelia Ann Edmondson who married Ira Belfry. John left property to Permelia and Ira's sons.

Dean b: 1786 in , , PA, USA d: 21 Nov 1856 in Wellesley Twp., Waterloo, ONT In 1847 George Dean and his wife sold the south half of lot 20, conc. 3 of Whitchurch Twp. to James Edmonson. It is not known whether he was related to George's wife, but I suspect he was. James Edmonson sold this property in 1852. The 1837 and 1847 directories of Whitchurch Twp. also show James Edmonson, Henry Edmondson and James Edmonston living near George Dean in Whitchurch Twp.
