Hi -

Every person subscribed to this mailing list or any other RootsWeb
mailing list should have received an email a few days ago alerting us
that RootsWeb is changing from an older mailing list software package
to new software. The following will give you the schedule for
moves: http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/migrate_sched.html.

This is a huge operation for RootsWeb, which has more than 29,000
lists to move. The amount of email being generated has been
affecting email delivery to some ISPs, including AOL. Be sure to
check your spam filters.

Our list, EDMONDSON-L, (and the digest version EDMONDSON-D), are
scheduled to be moved tomorrow, Monday, August 22 (US Mountain
Daylight Savings Time).

What does this move mean to you, the subscriber?

Current subscribers won't get a new welcome message. If you do get
one, don't panic. You won't be on an additional list. You'll just
be on the new version of the same list.

When it does happen I hope you will hardly notice it. Realistically,
though, there will some changes. I will post those to the list after
