I would like to hear from ANYONE who has come across this surname in their
research in Cambridgeshire. I have Sarah DEAR who married James GATES -
somewhere, sometime before 1817. All of their children where baptised in
Shepreth and Sarah gave her place of birth as Melbourn on the 1851 Census. I
haven't been able to find out anything about her family.
