I too could not find a Thomas with George or James 1841 Yorkshire census
but I did find an 8 year old Thomas Mitchell in 1841 with Ann Shore 55ys and
Martha Shore 15yr.
Then in 1851 19yr Thomas Mitchell with father George and Sarah Shaw 72yr
mother in law. Wondering if this is a possible match. Shore/Shaw ?
