I have forwarded a copy of these mails to I an Pope who I suspect is the
right person to answer the query.

I would deduce that there would be a connection between this and the
constant battle that seems to have raged to make freeminers pay the dues on
their mines to , and collect the orders mede on behalf of, the Free Miners
Court.... but I seek Ian's more expert advice!!

My mining families seem to have had a constant battle to pay their dues!!
