Subject: [FoD] BAKER - Clearwell and St Briavels 1861 and 1871 Census
Date: Wed, 30 Oct 2002 08:34:03 -0000
Please could anyone provide information from 1861 or 1871 censuses on the family of
George BAKER born c 1827 and
Sarah BAKER (nee MUDWAY) born c 1829
who may have been living in either Clearwell (Newland) or St Briavels?
They were married at Newland Parish Church on 29 May 1849.
I have found one son - Thomas (born 27 Mar 1850) in 1851 census.
According to the 1881 they had
Alfred (born c. 1866)
Elton (born c. 1869)
Milson (born c. 1873)
I am anxious to fill the huge gap between 1850 and 1866 when I believe there were probably many more children.
Thanks, John
