The Stamford Park Inn at Park Square subsequently became known as The Odd
Whim and has recently closed.

There are some new flats just awaiting completion and whilst the pub itself
has been saved ( though not as a pub) it is hidden away behind the flats
and cannot be seen from Mossley Road.

A pity really as it is a listed building.
