Hello to All My Relations!!!

I'm new to the list and have just read thru many of
your messages... whew!!! Lots of Eubanks out there...

At this point, I'm afraid I don't have much to offer...
and here it is...

Joel Eubanks, b. 1834, Holmes County, MS, d. 1897,
Holmes County, MS; Civil War Veteran; m. Martha
(unknown) Eubanks, b. 1841, Ala.

Children: Laura, John G.
Laura b. 1858, d. 1935, m. Floyd S. Kealhofer,
Holmes County, MS

Recently, I was given this info:

Phillip Eubanks, b. 1792, Orange County, NC. d. ?,
m. Sarah Jane Wolfe, b. 1802, NC.

Phillip and Jane had ten children: James Phillip,
Martha, Julia, Joel H., Thaddeus L., Solomon W.,
Josephine, Sophronia J., Caleb, and Joseph.

The Eubanks family first came to the Colony of VA
from Yorkshire, England in the early 1970s and
settled in King & Queen County, VA. John Eubanks
served in the Revoluntionary Army, 5th Regiment
of the Continental Line. John and his family moved
to Orange County, NC after the war and John died in
September of 1812.

Does anyone have any info on the Eubanks of MS,
specifically, Holmes County?

Thanks...
glenda peterson
