I am looking for information on John H. Ewell/Yewell. Earlier census reports spell his name as Ewell and later records spell it as Yewell. Some records show his birth place as New York while others show it as Maine. He married Mary Ann Calder 08 November 1832. He was born 15 October 1794 and died 02 September 1879 in Carroll County, MS. Does anyone know where this marriage took place?
