Clarke County Gen Web site has posted many obits taken from this Athens
newspaper. Several of them mention the Gable name randomly in some of these obits.
Can anyone idenify:
Willis Faye Gable Morris of Franklin County, Ga.
I am interested in both the GABLE and Morris name!
This Gable Morris female was a native of Franklin county and daughter of Paul
Washington and Omie Jackson Gable-the widow of Carl Whitworth Morris.
Evidentally this Gable female had a son named Carl W. Morris, Jr.
Willie Faye Gable Morris died May 4, 2001 at the age of 94, thus her
extimated birth would have been about 1907.
There were two surviving sons, Robert Morris of Baton Rouge, La. and Richard
"Morris" Fine, Walkertown, N.C. She had also a sister, Sara Durand Canon, and
many grandchildren.

Does anyone know whom the parents were of this Gable female?
Or can anyone ID the Omie Jackson Gable mentioned as being her mother?
