I have a full copy of Zelma Wells Price's book. It is there that I found
the Gable names that she mentioned in the Chatham/Effingham County area.
Thus when I returned there I research futher this family group. I sourced
and documented everything possibl. I would like to share this with
everyone, but am uncertain how to submit it. It is in a txt file but too
much to retype, needless to say! Please advise me how to share this with
all of you.
I had, hers ago attempted to submit this to Carl Gables GABLE site, but am
uncertain that he ever used it.

Yes, Zelma utilized many researcher to help her with all of this early
research, I found proof of their presence in the Georgia Historical
Society, card files! I was thrilled to see it there, of course. I probably
had more time to research there than they did. And am certain that more
info was brought to light since that time. This family will will weed out a
lot of questions for some. I had great gradification in doing this
project. The pieces were there but had never been compiled in an actual
genealogy. I also learned how many volumns/Indexs there was in the
collection of Georgia Colonial Records!! It was awsome, and historically
exciting, to look into the details of the past.

This material took place in Chatham and Effingham Counties. It seved as an
extra thrill to me, as my own paternal lines also lived in the same areas!
My home there was a stones' throw away from the old Abercorn
Settlement mentioned in this material.

I will submit this as soon as I can find the proper place to do so.
