I am a descendant of one of the Henry Gable men that you referred to in your post. I do not know who my Henry Gable belonged to but he was born in SC, his wife was Christiana Black, also born in SC, and they had 2 sons. I believe that his middle name was Adam or that his name was Adam Henry. His sons were Henry Napoleon Gable, b. in 1846 in Barbour Co., AL and William Luther Gable, b. in AL. I don't remember the year right offhand but my Henry Adam died in AL (don't know when) and his wife took the two boys back to SC. She married a Goff, William Luther married a Crout and they stayed in SC. Henry Napoleon married Mary Catherine Shealey and they moved to Cleburne Co., AL or in the vacinity around Crossroads, GA.
