Thomas Fain's name is on a Monument at Willis Square in Bainbridge GA.
along with other RS. The monument was erected in the1970's by the DAR.
It was reported at that time that he was buried on his homeplace in
unmarked grave located at Fainsville, south of Faceville. According to
his will, he left the homeplace to his wife, Mary Parramore Fain. In the
will, it states where the homeplace is.(Dist. 22 Lots 54 and 55) I am
very much interested in knowing if anyone has any idea if in their
lifetime, they ever saw any dwelling on this land. The land was later
owned by his son Thomas Parramore Fain. Wondering who owns it now?
Thanks for any help.
