I found this in a book.
The National Archives maintain ship passenger arrival records dating
back into the 1800's and will do the research for you. If they find your
ancester, they will send you a notice. The logs consist of 2x3 foot
sheets listing age, amount of money, launguage spoken, even height and
weight. There is a cost of $10.00 if you purchase the log.
