I (James M. Pickett, ) am trying to confirm our
family records that my maternal great-grandfather, Robert Joshua Lester,
was born in Lawrenceville, GA, in 1847. His mother apparently died soon
after his birth and his father, William A or M, remarried. Thus, marriage
records for William would be extremely useful. recently
informed me that he had found the grave stone of a William A. Lester in
Gwinnett Co., but the only other records he found were probate records in
Walton and Rockdale Co.'s. Putting family records together with the recent
information leads me to the following tentative tree segment: I would like
positive and negative evidence.
