Executor’s Sale
Georgia, Gwinnett County

By virtue of an order of the Court of Ordinary of said county, will be sold
before the Court House door, at Lawrenceville, on the first Tuesday October
next, within the legal hours of safe, the following described lands belonging
to the estate of Nathan L. Hutchins, deceased—to wit:
The farm or tract of land (numbers unknown) in the 7th district of said
county, knows as the “Waters Place,” containing seven hundred and fifty (750)
acres, more or less, and bounded as follows: By the Chattahoochee River on the
north and northwest, by lands of Howell and others on the west and southwest,
of Howell on the south and of T J Waters and Wardlaw on the east. Being all
the land embraced in the farm of George M Waters, deceased, at the time of his
death, except fifty acres in the northeast corner (including a lane leading
south to the public road), known as the T J Waters homestead.
Also the tract of land lying on the State Road, near Howell’s Cross Roads,
known as the place where W F Harrington now resides, containing two hundred
and ninety-six (296) acres, more or less, viz: 180 acres, more or less, of lot
NO. 254 in the 6th district of said county; 100 acres, more or less, of lot
NO. 264 in same district; and 95 acres more or less, of lot No. 161 in the 7th
district, adjoining lands of Isaac Strickland, Cole, Howell, Wardlaw and
others.
Also, the farm know as “Egypt,” whereon the testator lately resided, on the
Chattahoochee river, in said county, containing three and forty-six (346)
acres, more or les, viz: 133 ½ acres, fraction NO. 203?; 8 ½ acres more or
less of Lot NO. 814?, 125 acres more or less, of Lot NO. 284, and 80 acres
more or less, of Lot NO. 311?; all in the 7th district.
Also, the tract or lots of land composing the farm where P R Hutchins
resides in Forsyth County, lying on the Chattahoochee river and Dick’s Cree,
containing five hundred acres, more or less; viz: Lots No. 468, 469, 487, 488,
489, 496, 191, containing fourth acres each; Fractions No. 74, 38 ½ acres; No.
73, 37 2/10 acres, and No 763 2/10 acres, all in 1st district, 1st section, of
said county, and lots no. 1213, 1214, 1215, 1271, 1272, and 1273 in the second
district of said section containing forty (40) acres each. On this farm is a
new saw mill.
Also, the place known as the testator’s old family residence, near
Lawrenceville, in said county of Gwinnett, containing 419 acres, more or
less, viz: 219 acres, more or less, of lot NO. 174 and 200 acres, more or
less, of Lot No. 175, in the 5th district of said county.
Also, the “Park Place,” on the Covington road, two miles from
Lawrenceville, composed of lot No. 150, containing 250 acres, 5 3-16 acres,
more or less, of lot No. 149, 3 acres of lot No. 139 and 5 acres of Lot No.
140 in the 5th district of said county of Gwinnett.
Also, the following town property, in Lawrenceville, to-wit:
The brick storehouse on the southeast corner of the Courthouse yard.
The houses and lots whereon they are situated on the southwest corner of the
public square, adjoining lots of Mrs. J N Culow and G W Ambrose.
And the lots (numbers not known) immeately north of the grave yard, containing
four acres more or less, and known as the place where Miss Sexton formerly
resided.
Also, at the same time and place, will be send three hundred and sixty-six
shares of stock in the Georgia Railroad and Banking Company; and sixty-five
shares in the Atlanta and West Point Railroad Company.

All to be sold to effect a distribution among testators, legatees, and next of
kin.
Terms: One-half cash; remainder payable 1st of January next with interest.
