I believe this William GAMBLIN was in Ripley Co. MO. in 1850. Do you have that census record? I have corresponded with a descendent of Pencilla GAMBLIN, probable daughter of your William. William was apparently married to a woman with the surname DOVER in 1850, as there were several children with that surname in his household.
