Thank you for this information. We came to a "dead end"
tracing back to:

1850 Census for:

Josiah Gamblin who was born in 1844 in Caddo (sp) Township
Montgomery Arkansas. Whos father we believe was born in Delaware. My Great Grandfather would have been 6 years old in 1850. Josiah and and Wife (Mahala age 36) 7 children.

Mary Gamblin Age 16
Margaret C Age 14
Zion Age 12
Reuben Age 10
John Age 6 * My great-grandfather
George Age 5
Nancy Age 3
Julia Anne Age 2
