I'm trying to find out more about Miss Ann GANNAWAY who was the principal non-family beneficiary of the will of William RADCLIFFE or RADCLIFF, gentleman, of Netherfield Road, Everton, Lancashire in 1837.

She is mentioned in his will dated 1830 and at the time of his death in 1837 was residing in his house. He called her his 'most dis-interested friend'. He left her 500 which is worth 25,000 roughly today.

She does not seem to be in the 1841 census in Everton, nor to have got married.

It's an unusual name so I expect someone will know who she was and what happened to her .... I hope
