Looking for any information on "Susan A. Garner" who was either a young
adult or an older teenager in 1841. State unknown. Possibly NC or VA?

I have a beautiful sampler she stitched of two psalms and a scene of a
colonial farm. The sampler is dated 1841 and is beautifully done in
very neat, small cross-stitch. The quality of the stitches (and two
judgement errors -- lines that run into the border) are the reasons why
I'm assuming she was a young adult or older teenager at the time she did
it.

The sampler belonged to my late stepmother, whose Harris and Davis
families hailed from Warren County NC (near the VA line) and environs.
I have much of her family history, done by a distant cousin, and the
name "Garner" does not appear in those notes, though it is still
possible that the artist was one of her ancestors or relatives. Or
maybe she just bought it in her travels -- which would still primarily
lead to NC or VA as a point of acquisition.

Any leads on Susan A. Garner would be appreciated. Don't have any Garner
information to trade, but I'd be glad to take some good photos of the
sampler for any of her kin providing help.

Thanks,
