I'm looking for ancestors or descendents of LEWIS GARNER (born in England?)
who moved from Loundoun Co, VA to Garrett Co, MD prior to 1800. His widow
(maiden name, RICKMEYER) moved the family to Preston Co, W/VA around 1810,
where she married AMOS ROBERTS. Children of Lewis/Philip and Miss RICKMEYER
were:

WILLIAM GARNER, born in VA, married Francis ROBERTS (daughter of Amos
ROBERTS, mentioned above)
JOHN GARNER,
b. 17 Mar 1794, Virginia; m. Mary Pugh; d. 5 Dec 1857, Davis Co, IA; bur.
