Searching for descendants, ancestors of James Garner and Nancy unknown. He
lived in Constable, Franklin, NY 1836-1866 when he died. Wife, Nancy is
buried in Constable...can't find his burial site. Per 1850-1860 census he
was born in Ireland. How and when did he arrive in US?? Some of the kids
living with him were born in Vermont. Could be wife's siblings or their
kids, don't know. The youngest son, James Alfred Garner is my gg
grandfather. He left NY for Nebraska at 16 in 1866, after his father died.
I believe his sisters all stayed in New York. His 2 older bros. died in the
Civil War. Do any of these names seem familiar??? Thanks in advance, Pat
