I am checking around the family to see what I can find out for you. Do you know the names of Dan's parents?? If you do, I would be able to tell you alot more. I do no that they are in my family. If they are Citronelle GARTMAN's, they are one of my relatives.--I have found Annie, she is in a Nursing home. Mamie married a FILLINGIM and lives here , but I could not get her to answer her phone today. She is 83 or atleast that is what I've been told, & remembers alot about her family. If I can get her on the phone tomorrow, I will find out who her grandparents are, and will be able to help you then.Mamie married a Peterson, and my cousin said her son J.K. Perterson, who lives in Michigan, is down here right now on vacation. I also got his cell phone number, but also could not get him to answer. I will try him again tomorrow. If I am not mistaken, I believe I was told that Mamie is dead. Do not know anything about the other children, but I will {hopefully} find something out to!
morrow.---I do remember my Mother talking about her Uncle Dan, but she is dead also, so I can't go there for information, but I promise you, I will do all that I can to help you.after all family is all we have.---We just had a GARTMAN Reunion on Mar 27 in Citronelle. & JK Peterson {your 1st cousin} was there, wish I had met him,but there were over 300 people there.
