Hi I have been doing research on my family tree which indirectly relates to me. I am a Bouton and my family came from Pecatonica. My great grandmother was named Margaret 'Maggie Haire and she married George W. Bouton. They are buried in the Winnebago Cemetery. Maggie had a sister, Ann and a brother John. John married a Catherine Scone and they had at least 5 children. Their oldest daughter Mary married a John Gartman in 1895. They had two children before she died in 1905. The marriage took place at St. Thomas Catholic Church just south of Seward. The church is gone but John and his wife Catherine are buried there along with a daughter Mabel who was three years old and near to them is Mary Haire Gartman. Is this family part of your history?
