My Gash family also originated in Lincolnshire and my GG Grandfather was
David GASH who had sons William and Thomas born Kirton; my G Grandfatherwas
William and he moved his family to South Yorkshire - they were there at the
time of the 1891 Census.
You need to get Birth Certificates and Marriage Certificates to find out
their parents and where they were born.
I have a database which is the property of several GASH researchers and I
will look through to see if I can find mention of your GASH family. I could
also put you in touch with the person who keeps the database if you are
interested.
