Hi All;

I'd like to mention my local genealogical society to this group.

As you know, many families moved to and from Jackson (NC), Cherokee (NC),
and Towns (GA). I think some of them also ventured over to East Tennessee
counties also.

There are a LOT of similar surnames between Towns and Jackson.

Our society has a web page (that I maintain). There's several good things
there that might interest Towns researchers, including an article about the
Migration Patterns of Jackson Families.
