This is all that I know on my Gazzaway line! like a brick wall.............I know she comes from the Gazzaways over in SC, but finding the right branch of the tree is eluding me.........

FIRST GENERATION



1. William TAYLOR was born in 1789 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. He died in 1867 in Habersham (Stephens) County, Georgia. He was buried in Carnes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Stephens County, GA.



He was married to Frances GAZZAWAY about 1808. Frances GAZZAWAY was born in 1795 in South Carolina. She died in 1862 in Habersham (Stephens) County, Georgia. She was buried in Carnes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Stephens County, GA. William TAYLOR and Frances GAZZAWAY had the following children:



+2 i. Thomas W. TAYLOR (born in 1810).

+3 ii. Caleb TAYLOR (born on 9 January 1811).

+4 iii. John TAYLOR (born in 1813).

+5 iv. Spencer Randolph TAYLOR (born in 1814).

+6 v. Millie TAYLOR (born in 1816).

+7 vi. Matilda TAYLOR (born in 1817).

8 vii. Unidentified Child (?) TAYLOR was born in 1819.

9 viii. Susan Mamie (?) TAYLOR was born in 1822. She died in Habersham County, Georgia. She was buried in Carnes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Stephens County, GA.

10 ix. Elizabeth (?) TAYLOR was born in 1823.

+11 x. Andrew Jackson "Jackie" TAYLOR (born in 1825).

+12 xi. Jeremiah Martin "Jerry" TAYLOR (born on 19 December 1827).

+13 xii. Mary "Polly" TAYLOR (born in 1829).

+14 xiii. Wofford Gilbert TAYLOR (born on 11 June 1830).

+15 xiv. William TAYLOR (born in 1834).

+16 xv. Stephen TAYLOR (born in 1840).
