Looking at the 1860 Wilcox County census:
Jonathan Fountain (died 1898) married Elizabeth Stone (died 10 June 1907 in Wilcox County, age 84). They were married on 30 August 30, 1846 In Irwin County. Jonathan and Elizabeth were shown living in Wilcox County in the 1900 census. I think they were members of Missionary Baptist Church. Also shown were Bettie, Lulu, Lizzie age 13 who was probably a granddaughter.
Jonathan Fountain and Elizabeth Stone had the following children:
1.John Steely Fountain b. about 1847
2.Eusebia Fountain b. about 1848, died in infancy
3.James Fountain b. about 1849
4.Manning Fountain b. about 1851 and died when he was 22 years old in Darien, McIntosh County
5.Sarah (Sallie) Fountain was born about 1852. She married John T. Land (Son of Robert Land and Millie Fountain) on 12 January 1875 in Wilcox County. John T. Land was born 1850.
6.Nancy Fountain b. about 1853, widow of John W. Brown, Wilcox
7.Celia Ann Fountain b. about 1855. She married John E. Whittle 17 June 1881. Ben Hill County
8.Drewry Fountain b. about 1857. He married Sallie I Fountain on 25 October 1881
9.Jonathan Moore Fountain b. about 1859. He married Sarah C. Whittle 4 February 1883. Ben Hill
10.William Henry Fountain II b. 1862. His first wife was Mary Ann Brady,m. 6 March 1886. Mary Ann Brady b. Jasper County, FL, d. 1893 in Irwin County. Second wife was Rebecca J. Walker of Irwin, m. 14 March 1894.
11.Bettie (Elizabeth) Fountain . between 1865 and 1870. m. J.J. Dykes on 24 March 1904.
12,Lulu (Louiza) Fountain b. between 1868 and 1872.
