Hi Lisa:
What is it you wish to know? Pierre Gendreau was born circa 1570, St.Denis d'Oleron, I'le d'Oleron, Saintonge, Aunis, France. He married Marguerite Germaine. They had, in the popular requested lineage, Georges Gendreau, born abt. 1602, St.Denis, and he married Jeanne Coulon. They had a number of children, one of which was Pierre (dit La Poussiere) Gendreau, born 03 January 1630. Pierre came to the New World on the ship, LaFortune 100, landing in New France (Quebec City) in June 1656. Pierre farmed on the Island of Orleans, met and married a young lady named Jeanne Garnier, and had five children, three stepsons, and died in 1673 in circumstances undetermined by local authorities. He was proclaimed legally dead later that same year, the probably cause being either killed by hostile indians, or drowned while crossing the St.Laurence estuary.
Jeanne <Garnier> Gendreau remarried her fourth husband, and unlike the previous three, he died of natural causes in Quebec City. Jeanne later died in the same city and was buried there.
If I can be of further help, let me know.
Ted F. Johnson,
