Hello!

I thought I should make mention of the fact that the new combined
Ancestry/Rootsweb message boards are now online. This is something that
Rootsweb has done for all the message boards. The URL for the GENSMER
surname board is:

http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec?htx=board&r=rw&p=surnames.Gensmer

You can also find the GENSMER surname board (and other surname boards) by
going to the main Rootsweb site:
http://www.rootsweb.com/

Then go down the page to Message Boards & Surnames.

The old URL address still works for now. There are no more
specialty boards like obits so everything is combined in one place.

I guess the new board has some good and bad points but you can still post
your queries. You can also do a keyword search on any of the message
boards (localities and topics as well as any other surname board--not just
GENSMER
where your ancestor might appear). And you can search for variant
spellings.
