I have an Alice Doria Gentle born October 16 1864 in Aberystwith, North Wales to Cornelius and Freedom Gentle (nee James). They were travellers. I also have a sister of Cornelius named Alice, born Jan 24 1813 probably in Alkerton, Oxfordshire. This Alice is dau of John and Letitia (Davis) Gentle, also Travellers. I do not have a recorded marriage for either of them. Hope this may be helpful.
