I noticed your message about Gerber,Johnstown, PA.

My mother's name was Florence Martha Gerber born
Feb. 8, 1908 in Johnstown. Her father was Edwin P Gerber of Schuylkill County, PA. Family history orally says he was from Orwigsburg, PA coming to Johnstown in the 1800's and establishing a painting and decorating business on Somerset Street which was hit by the 1889 flood and then re-established. Are we connected.
