Thanks for the information regarding Peter Gerber. My grandfather was Edwin P (possibly Pancoast Gerber) born in Schuylkill County-Orwigsburg, PA. 1860. His father was John Gerber and he had 10 children. Here is a listing of known siblings of my grandfather Edwin:

Elizabeth Gerber Bittle of Tamaqua PA
WD Gerber Johnstown
John Gerber making home somewhere in West (in obit)
Tillie Gerber Wade-New Jersey
Mabel Reigel and Retta Gerber both in Johnstown
