Hi List!

I'm researching (with no success) the surname Ex or Exa. Has anyone
come across or are you researching this surname? I have not been able to
locate this name anywhere in Germany.

According to the Kynast Family Chronik, my 3rd g-grandmother was Johanna
Ex or Exa. She was the daughter of Johann Ex/Exa, born abt 1767 and
Elizabeth Sour/Saur/Sauer, born 4 Nov 1771. They married abt. 26 Oct
1797 (envy castle). Johanna was the 2nd wife of Jacob Phillip Kuehnast
of Neidenburg (envy castle, now Nidzica in Poland). They were married in
Neidenburg 2 Oct 1831. Johanna was born 23 June 1808 and died in
Neidenburg abt 1845.

Any help with this surname or family will be sincerely appreciated.
