Thank you, Karen! This DOES make a big difference in my understanding of how
Lutheran and Evangelische came to mean the same thing in Prussia. This
decree by the King was probably intended to make everyone "get along well
together"? I guess that in the US there was more exclusivity among different sects
arising from this forced union.
