There are two Wertheims; one is picturesque on the River Main and the other
Wertheim is about 40 or 50 miles north and is a mining community. My
question is that there are Amthauers in both towns and I would like to know
if Wetheim on the Main developed before the mining town of Wertheim? Can
anyone help me with this question. I can not read German or I would have
gone after the info myself.
