Hello to all. I'm hoping someone can help with the some symbols. I know I've seen this discussed somewhere. I'm looking at Catholic church records from the Baden area in the 1790's. I thought the little symbol under the name in the margin meant it was a dead baby being baptized. But in this area, I'm seeing different symbols in the margin. Some look sort of like plus signs. Others look more like T's. Some double crossed T's. I see another that looks more like an H. Some of the plus signs have the ends crossed making it look wheel like. Can someone shed some light on this, or point me in the direction of a web page perhaps ?
