Hello,

What is the chance of someone's birth, marriage, and death records appearing both in the churches as well as civil records?

I ask this because my Hartman's were Lutheran and there are many places in Saxony there are only Catholic records microfilmed by LDS, and I was wondering what the chances are of finding someone Lutheran showing up in Catholic records as well as civil records.

Of course, this would be prior to 1850.
