Well her is what I have found . My sister in-law started this and I
took it over after her death. . She has a story that about 12 people
came from Germany in 1883. They came to Middleton Dane County Wis. I
have not found 12 of them but I have a lot of other Genealogy projects
going on right now . I found on Castle Garden about 8 that I figure
came in this group . but tonight I can not find all of them

Apr 27 1883 Ship was Hohstenstaufen
I have Ludwig Eichmann b. 23 Mar 1852 Germany d. 1924 Ca.
His wife Ernistine Willamina (Minnie ) Schultz b. 23 Mar 1857 Germany
d. 10 Jan 1932 Ca.
they brought a 2 year old daughter with them he name was Emile , Castle
Garden have them coming from Austria.

I find August Eichmann (brother to Ludwig) and his wife Emilie Schultz
on the same ship coming from Germany

Emilie & Minnie are sisters . they came to Wis . stayed for a while.

Ludwig and Minnie had another daughter Ida was born in Wis . Then by
1888 they had a son Edward who was my father in law in SD

Ludwig & August had farms a half mile apart in Clarno Township Lake
County SD

I am looking for Ludwig & Augusts parents . I know that Minnie &
Emilies parents are Wm. Schultz . ( I can not find anything on him. I
find his wife is Agusta A Retzlaff Schultz was born 1829 - 1919

Have no Idea why they left Germany and who was in Wis .
