Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had access to the Germans to America books and would be willing to look up some names for me.

I am interested in finding the immigration info for Wilhelmina Stephan. The name is often alternately-spelled as Steffen, Steven, Stephen, etc. I have a birth record for her son done in German that spells the name Stephan, so I assume that is the correct spelling. She was born about 1832-1833. She most likely came to the United States between 1850 and 1855. In the 1860 US Census in Bucks Co., PA she is married to John Armbruster, but living with her family are two Stephans (name is spelled Steven) named Henry and Elizabeth (In the 1870 Census Henry's last name is spelled ''Stephen''). I assume these are her parents. They were both born about 1790. She also had a sister, but I do not know the sister's name. If anyone can help me out it would be great!
