Thank you SO MUCH for the WW1 Draft card site. I found both of my father's brothers on there and learned a little more about each of them. Their ancestry was not German but every little bit helps in the search for our roots.

I did not introduce myself very well in earlier emails. My search in Germany is for the Schmidt's and Spangenbergs of Vacha, Saxe-Weimar, Germany 1700-1850.
