Hello and thank you for your welcome
Let me introduce myself
My Name is LIZ LOHF and I married into the LOHF family in 1978
I live in Perth,
WESTERN AUSTRALIA
I have been trying to trace the origin of my husbands family and I am experiencing some difficulty.
There are unfortunately none of husbands previous generation left to gain information from so I am going by what was discussed over coffee some yeas ago.
so far all I have is;
LOHF Francis Burial records 1/12/1877 at Port Pirie Cemetary in SOUTH AUSTRALIA aged 40

LOHF Albert George Born 20/4/1869 SOUTH AUSTRALIA
Married Pauline LINDER
His son was Frank LOHF
Born 22/8/1898 Died 3/12/1963
and married Winiferd Andreys
Their son was Francis William LOHF
Born 24/9/1927 Died 17/12/2001
married Lois Grace Lang
Francis William and Lois Grace were my parents in Law

I can find no records at all regarding the arrival to Australia of any LOHF
Years ago I was told that 3 brothers left Germany 2 went to America and 1 came to Australia.
I can trace decedents from
Albert George LOHF but not many before him
So this is why I have joined your group in search of any information I can either help others with or that others have stumbled upon that may help me
I don't unfortunately speak German and your web site is the only one I found that translates to English which I must thank you for.
