FYI y'all: there is a Yahoo group() that will
transcribe and translate old German script for you. Just scan the docs and
send it to them...easy as that!

Josef...........Place of origin, Baboszek. If the name of the origin is
correct spelling, that will give you a clue to decifer the script by the
formation of the letters. Remember his last name was listed first on the
manifest. I would say the name of the owner of the farm where he went was
Jacob Bose since Janos was a "farm laborer"
