Yahoo is free. They have a lot of groups, too. It's pretty easy to
subscribe to.
I started with Yahoo when I needed e-mail at work, way back when we first
got computers. But I also had my regular ISP at home.
When I quit working, I kept my Yahoo address as a lot of people knew that
address, I had a lot of things saved there, and it gave me extra scanning of
e-mails and more room in my box. Another thing is that I don't get nearly
as much spam on Yahoo as I do on my ISP.
If I can't find things on Google or the search engines my ISP offers,
sometimes I can find it on Yahoo.
I like some things they have, but they just "improved" it and I haven't got
it all figured out!

Guess there is at lest one hitch--you have to subscriber to Yahoo. Not sure
