Hello Wolf,
As I mentioned in my previous email to Mary Dess, the German saying that accompanies the
woodcut of a 16th century POGNER contains words that are no longer to be found in any
dictionary Wiki or otherwise. I have copied the text and sent it to the Wiki translator and
I'm curious to find out what the results are.

Here is my version of the translation:

A good cross-bow I can make
The columns I decorate diligently
Covered with flowers/snow white leg
With ???? or steel bows
On top of that wind threads and a ????
That cannot be easily separated
To be sure to meet the target
The art Syrus we enjoy.

I hope we can now put this subject to rest.
