Everything all of you say is true - that is about people
stealing data and selling it. Also about sketchy
people who claim we can find royalty. Add to that
the family crest scam.

However, I have found the Internet trees so helpful.
Not everything pans out, but these have been wonderful
leads in most cases. I always verify: Courthouse records,
etc.....but sometimes, when I am clueless, the Interent
trees have lead to the right sources. I think the operative
word is "sources." Check the sources (if named) with the
proper sources. If not there, find some sources to verify
