Sorry! I do not see any Australian ancestors in my research. All of my Knuths came from Schnatow, County Cammin, Pro. Pommern (1892) and directly to North America via Bremen.

Before 1846; that the last known Knuth relative I have (Herman F. W. Knuth b. 1846), I have no more resarch - unless (this is a big 'unless') Herman had a brother who went to Australia. But then you are speaking about 1877 and I am stuck at 1892.

Gordon

hi gordon
i am researching the knuth family. my knuth's came to australia on 4 sept
1877 aboard the charles dickens from germany. carl his wife auguste sikoll
(sokoll, sekoll) with their 2 daughters martha (auguste martha) and emilie.
i have no information on carl's parents, auguste's parents are christian
sikoll and marie anna rogalski. carl and auguste were married in germany in
1873.
i don't know of any other relatives coming to australia but suspect they may
have emmigrated to usa or canada.
if you think there may be a connection contact me on

cheers
karen
