Michael,
you are of course correct. One of my German counterparts wrote to me asking
to check out this information he discovered on his emigrant ancestors on
Ancestry.com - every detail of the family tree was a perfect match, he
couldn't believe it and wanted me to find out who the person was that had
placed this family tree online. Coming to find out, it was he who had
posted the information years earlier but had forgotten all about it.
We had a good laugh.
