Hello Ursula - Becky in Michigan has a question for you and 2 others for the group. Please.

Ursula you said awhile ago you'd found my Dallmann's on a German ship manuscript with their origin place sited as Hartlow. After much searching I've found the ship list but can only find the one that lists their destination as Tallman MI - and that is a place not far from Ludington, Mason co, MI. I really need to go back there. Oh, Emilie, actually lists her parents as Albertina Albrecht and August Dallmann. Albrecht was what we knew this woman by. I also have a 4 generation picture of Bertha, her mother, my grandfather and oldest uncle. Still haven't located where August died. He's not buried in Boyne City Mi with Bertha and Albertina.

Ursula - thanks to you and this great bunch of people and all your help I have found numerous sibs to my ggrandmother Bertha Dallmann. And I do know whatever happened to Anna (but haven't checked the male sibs yet). She and her sister Emilie both got married in Ludington as did my ggrmo Bertha. Anna didn't seem to have a lot of luck with marriages - I found her on her 4th one to a John Jhonson. But her main marriage from which she had many kids was to a Charles Rowlingson. I couldn't even pull that up till I cut everything to the last name. Emilie married a Gottfried Thiel in Ludington.

Another question I have for the group is this - my August and Albertina Dallmann show their destination as Nebraska, yet all their children have Michigan as that. Why would there be this type of a situation? I'm assuming they verbally provided both theirs and their kids.

My other question for the group is this: On the Canadian census they show their origin as "Rejtzenhagen". I thought I found this once in Meyers Ort as Wurttenberg or something. I can't replicate finding that. Does anyone have any idea what this town is? I found one starting with a W that basically sounds the same but it doesn't have the "hagen" on the end. I'm stumped again. And could they really be off 11 years on their imm date from Prussia?

Thank you all so much for giving me many lines on this elusive family! Becky
